I will be honest, becoming a millionaire has been in my head as far back as I could remember. It’s not about the millionaire status, but more so wanting to inspire others and accomplishing what most think is impossible. I was always looking at the habits of successful people and how I can work them into my life.

Let’s dive right into the first habit that can change your life:
1.They Read A Lot
Reading has always been one of the motivating elements I have adopted from early on. I enjoy reading books that encourage self improvement. Time and time again I browse different studies that focus on wealthy people and their correlation with reading.
A research study conducted by Thomas Corley stated that 85% of self-made millionaires read two or more books per month. With the average time of 32 years to achieve self-made millionaire status. Over that period of
Noting that millionaires don’t just read any old book. They focus on books that will help them grow and learn. This includes topics like how-tos, biographies, leadership, self-help, or current events.

2. They Get Up Early
It’s documented that almost half, around 44% of wealthy people wake up 3 or more hours early before they actually start working. This is the time they use to read and be productive.
I personally like to wake up early to get my mind focused and fill it with positive vibes. It all starts with some exercise paired with music, reading and a nutrition packed healthy shake for breakfast. This is what sets me up for the day and allows me to channel my energy towards my goals.
Think of this next time you spill your coffee as you’re speeding down the road because you woke up 20 minutes before you have to start work. We are all guilty of it and
3. They Use Focused Thinking
We live in a society where at any one time there are 5 things around us to divert our attention from the task at hand. The cell phone rings, an email comes through, your buddy is talking about last night’s big game… and so on. You get the point and i’m sure I did not even have to give examples.
Successful people know how to keep focused. They use time management skills to set time aside to allow for those distractions. They also know the time to shut the office door, let the secretary deal with the calls or put that phone on do not disturb. This allows them to focus on one issue at a time, solve it, and move on to the next important objective.
4. They Set Daily Goals
Whether they’re looking for that next big real estate project, planning weekly task, going over the weekly budget or looking for ways to produce another source of income, millionaires are know for setting daily goals.
Goal setting is important for all time frames. Providing yourself with a daily goal will keep you on track for your long term goal. It’s important to prioritize your day when setting your daily goal with the most important thing first. For example, if you are trying to make more money, then focus on the task that will make you thousands, instead of procrastinating with the actions that will only earn you hundreds.
5. They Spend Time With People Who Inspire Them
You’ve probably heard the adage that you are the average of the 5 people you spend the most time with. Your brain is conditioned by the environment you surround yourself with. Continuingly hanging out with people who bring you down, party every friday because they hate their jobs and add no value to the group will only hurt your outcome for success.
Find that person or group of people who
6.They Pursue Their Own Goal
Wealthy people will always have a goal. They’re not looking to copy someone else and be fed all the answers on a silver platter. They set a goal, one that they have constructed with a well written plan and will stop at nothing to achieve it.
The most important thing to keep in mind is that they are passionate about their specific goal and it’s not something they dread.
This does not mean that you can’t use other people as inspiration or for ideas. But you need to make sure you’re constructing your own plan to follow. As well as understanding your mistakes and being able learn from them and grow.
Almost all people who have generated wealth started with a passion for what they love and set a goal. This is not something they started because they wanted to get rich overnight. No, they saw an opportunity that could change the world and help others. You need to act on your instincts and even if you fail you will have learned a lesson and be able to alter your main goal in life.
Once you are doing what you love it’s no longer a chore and if you are providing something of value the money will follow.
No one said it would be easy. But that’s the
7. They Get Enough Sleep
The internet is full of information on sleep and why it’s so important to your daily health. A new study by Johns Hopkins researchers shows that there’s a difference between sleep that’s long but interrupted and sleep that’s short but sound. As you might have guessed the study provides research that short quality sleep is better than long but interrupted sleep.
“When your sleep is disrupted throughout the night,” says study lead author Patrick Finan, “you don’t have the opportunity to progress through the sleep stages to get the amount of slow-wave sleep that is key to the feeling of restoration.”
It’s driven in our heads that we need 8 hours of sleep a night. But if those 8 hours consist of interruptions it’s not beneficial. The goal is to have sleep that is not interrupted which will result in a positive mood for the following day.
